The Tempest

The Tempest is believed to be the last play that Shakespeare wrote alone.

It is set on a remote island, where the sorcerer Prospero (rightful Duke of Milan) has fled with his daughter Miranda after being betrayed by his brother Antonio many years before.

The sorcerer decides to use his magic to make his daughter the new Duchess of Milan so  creates up a giant storm - also called a   tempest - to lure his usurping brother Antonio and his guilty friend King Alonso of Naples to the island.

There begins a tale of double-crossing, love, revenge, demons, sprites, monsters and magic.
