Special Educational Needs

The Inclusion team

We are Abby Constable and Jenny Steward, the Assistant Heads for Inclusion and the Special Educational Needs and Disability Co-ordinators (SENDCos)  We are responsible for making sure the children with special needs learn, achieve and enjoy school.

We are always here to listen to parents’ concerns and to ensure you and your children get the support and help you need. If you have any questions or enquiries we are always happy to help; we are on the playground at drop off and pick up times or feel free to make an appointment at the office.

Mrs Steward is the SENDCo for year 5, She teaches Deers class every morning and is in school all day on a Monday.

Mrs Constable is the SENDCo for the rest of the school and works all day Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Ruth Poulton is our nominated SEND Governor.

Lisa Hubbard is our Inclusion and Family Worker.  She is based in the Rainbow Room at the front of the school.  Claire Grain is our Inclusion Teaching Assistant and is mostly based in Key Stage 2.  Together they run our Nurture Group Intervention.
