Another great day in Year 5.
Today, the children worked hard to design and build rockets. They considered the materials that they would need to use to ensure their design was lightweight and aerodynamic. The best part of the day however, was launching them!
We have had a fantastic Cowboy Day to end our Wild West American history topic. The morning was spent line dancing as well as participating in the Harvest Assembly, and the afternoon was full of Cowboy Olympic Games and campfire fun. The children all looked great in their costumes and embraced the day with enthusiasm. We particularly liked watching the children "cross the creek" and listening to their prairie adventure stories around the campfire.
