INDOOR- GYMNASTICS JUMPING JACKS
In gymnastics we will begin by learning a conditioning phrase as a warm up. We will then explore the safe landing position as an introduction to our gym sessions. We will practice pencil jumps landing in the correct position. We will then move on to exploring a variety of jumps.
We will be learning ball skills and working as a team. We will practise playing games that encourage us to consider the use of space and controlling the movements of our bodies. We will also practise our throwing and catching skills and hand eye co-ordination.
